Our History

Chartouni Education’s legacy is rooted in the profound passion of its founder, Kamal Chartouni, for the Arabic language and his vision to build creative bridges between the language and the learners.

1973-1981

-Kamal, together with Henry Zoughaib, authored Ayam w Machahed and Ayam w Jana to teach Arabic in primary grades. Published by Dar Al Mashreq, this pioneering work marked the first step in transforming how the language is taught and experienced globally.

1982-1990

-Elias El Haddad joined the team, and together they authored Mabade2 al Loughat bel Moula7azat w al Tatbik for the education of Arabic grammar.

1991-2000

-This period marked the release of Okoud Al Ayam for intermediate grades and Okoud al Kalam for primary grades.

-Audio cassette and VCR-based lessons were introduced to enhance the learning experience and make it more engaging.

2001-2010

- eBooks were created, rendering the content interactive and enabling teachers and students to cope with technological advancements.

2011-2020

-Dr. Madona Chartouni joined the team bringing a fresh perspective and contemporary educational methods.

-The Alokoud app was launched, a cutting-edge digital platform that revolutionized the learning experience by providing interactive tools and resources, making Arabic learning more accessible and engaging.

2020-2024

-Chartouni Education was established to continue the legacy offering dynamic, interactive content tailored to the needs of modern Arabic learners.

-New versions of EB2 and EB3 are launched.
